| Just one thing! Hi friends, I don’t want to interrupt your summer fun or mid year break for more than a moment but I want to share one thing that is time sensitive. My dearest friend, documentary filmmaker extraordinaire, Cathleen O’Connell is fundraising to complete her amazing work in progress, Nancy Drew: The Case of The American Icon. Production was cruising along when the drastic cuts at the National Endowment for the Humanities were announced. As a result, she and her team lost half of their grant money! Their July Kickstarter campaign reached the initial goal of $50K and that’s great but it’s not enough to actually finish the project. You can read more about it here. If you are able to donate to the campaign by July 31st it would be a tremendous help. And maybe you know someone who loved reading Nancy Drew and would totally want to know about this project.
